What is a BarCamp?

For those that missed the last BarCamp or PodCamp.

“BarCamp is an ad-hoc unconference born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment”.

BarCamp is a relaxed community event with demonstrations, discussions, presentation and interaction from attendees. If you have something to contribute or the desire to learn you are welcome at BarCamp. The beauty of BarCamp is it is free.

The motto of BarCamp is: No spectators, only participants.

Hang on what's this No Spectators stuff?

Okay this doesn't mean you have to present. The day is designed so that everyone can contribute in some way to the BarCamp.

Now this can be from technical troubleshooting, organising people, setting up, cleaning up, assisting presenters, being very active in discussions, general gophering.
